Baywatch Slo Mo Marathon

We were set the task of making Baywatch the blockbuster movie of the summer, making it relevant not just to existing fans but also to a whole new generation. To do this, we staged the world’s first-ever slow mo marathon, a real-life event in Downtown Los Angeles that took the iconic slow-motion running from the original TV show and brought it to life with the self-referential humour of the new movie. Over 1,100 runners completed the race, with a further 74,000 watching the event unfold on Facebook Live. Our content after the event garnered over 11 million views, reinventing a cult classic for modern times.
